Ground R&V manages the requirements and verification baseline at and below the ground segment. In this role you will ensure level 3 capability (aka element) requirements are (1) derived from and bi-directionally traced to Ground Segment requirements, (2) following program R&V processes at level 3, (3) complete with verification status & evidence when the capability is declared done by agile processes. You will coordinate with the System Integrators Requirements lead to ensure common processes are followed and traces are bi-directional. You will collaborate on change management to the Ground Segment requirements. You will witness ground verification test events and author analysis and inspection reports with a team of SMEs. You will manage the ground segment verification status based on verification evidence conclusions and customer input. You will ensure Problem report (PR)/Discrepancy Reports (DRs) are bi-directionally traced to Ground Segment Requirements. Basic Qualifications Systems Engineer: 2 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s in STEM; 0 years of relevant experience with a Master’s in STEM Principal Systems Engineer: 5 years of relevant experience with a Bachelor’s in STEM; 3 years of relevant experience with a Master’s’ in STEM; 0 years of relevant experience with a PhD Active TS/SCI required at the time of application Experience with IBM Rational DOORS Experience with Excel Experience with Jira and Confluence Experience with Knowledge Requirement Metrics/Data analysis Preferred Qualifications Experience with DOORS DXL scripting Experience with Visio Experience with Technical Writing Salary Primary Level Salary Range: $89,400.00 - $134,200.00. Secondary Level Salary Range: $110,300.00 - $165,500.00. The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate’s experience, education, skills and current market conditions. Benefits Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay.
