As a Patrol Unarmed Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, support access control, and assist visitors with professionalism. You will use strong communication and customer service skills while documenting observations and responding to security-related concerns. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, tenants, and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout retail areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the exterior perimeter, with working conditions varying by location.
• Observe and report unusual activity, hazards, maintenance concerns, and policy violations to the appropriate personnel.
• Respond to incidents, customer concerns, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following established site procedures.
• Help to deter unauthorized activity by maintaining a visible professional presence and documenting incidents through accurate reports.

Minimum Requirements:

• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Access control and badge experience is preferred.
• A guard card or license is preferred.
• Comfortability using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
