Key Skills & Qualifications:

• Active RN license in the state of NM or a compact state
• Current BLS, NRP, and ACLS certifications (AHA only)
• Certification in AWHONN Intermediate FHM or NCC Electronic Fetal Monitoring (C-EFM)
• STABLE certification for neonatal stabilization
• Minimum 1 year of recent perinatal nursing experience preferred
• Bachelor of Science in Nursing (preferred)
• Ability to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care independently
• Excellent communication skills and cultural competence
• Strong critical thinking and decision-making abilities

Nice to Have Skills:

• Perinatal RN Residency or recent experience in a perinatal setting
• Experience with complex patient education and family support
• Proficiency in electronic health records and documentation

Preferred Education & Experience:

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing or higher (preferred)
• At least one year of specialized labor and delivery experience in a hospital setting
• Prior travel nursing experience is a plus

Other Requirements:

• Availability to work night shifts (7PM - 7AM) with 6 weekend shifts per 6-week schedule
• Willingness to travel and adapt to different hospital environments
• Commitment to completing all orientation and competency requirements upon placement
• Access to reliable transportation and ability to meet all certification and licensing requirements
