A healthcare facility located in the Cottonwood, AZ area is seeking a skilled Night Pharmacist to provide expert pharmaceutical care during overnight shifts. This contract opportunity offers a schedule of 7 nights on followed by 7 nights off, working from 9:00 pm to 7:30 am.

Responsibilities:

• Verify medication orders accurately and efficiently to ensure patient safety.
• Supervise and support pharmacy technicians to maintain smooth pharmacy operations.
• Consult regularly with physicians and nursing staff to optimize medication therapy.
• Apply pharmacokinetic principles to monitor and adjust medication dosages.
• Utilize Cerner EMR system for documentation and medication management.

Qualifications:

• Active Arizona Pharmacist license is required.
• Hospital pharmacy experience demonstrating competency in dispensing and clinical support.
• Ability to work independently during night shifts while maintaining communication with healthcare team.
• Familiarity with Cerner electronic medical records and pharmacy software.
• Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills.
