Pennington Partners & Co.
Founded in 2016, Pennington Partners provides best-in-class solutions to highly successful entrepreneurial families to improve and elevate their lives. One of those solutions is concierge-style health and wellness services, spanning from functional medicine-based nutrition to health coaching and fitness. We are looking for an exceptional functional-medicine nutritionist who is or is eligible to become a licensed nutritionist in Maryland and other states, and has with at least three years of concentrated experience in providing clinical nutrition services to clients. We are an award-winning multi-family office, which means that we work with founders of companies who have had a successful exit (meaning they sold their company), and we provide investment and wealth management advising– allowing these business leaders to build their legacy and continue to make an impact. Our culture is vibrant, intelligent, and relentlessly driven. We are exceptional professionals with diverse, multi-disciplinary backgrounds who value independent judgment, integrity, and fresh thinking. While the firm continues to gain scale, we remain deeply committed to our entrepreneurial roots—valuing agility, creativity, and an unwavering client focus. About the Role As the Health & Wellness Specialist (Functional Medicine Nutritionist), your primary role is to advance client and team wellness by designing and implementing programming and providing expert one-on-one nutrition guidance and wellness coaching. You will provide exceptional clinical expertise, cultivating a culture of investment in personal wellness, among successful entrepreneurs and their families, and among our team members. The ideal candidate takes initiative, efficiently and confidently serves our clients, collaborates as a team player, and embraces their responsibility as a subject matter expert in their field. The individual will need to understand the complexity of the growing and shifting needs and priorities, in our dynamic and entrepreneurial culture, and be agile and flexible in managing their workload. While this position requires clinical skills, a significant portion of your responsibilities are also non-clinical. The ideal candidate is a proven writer and confident presenter, and enjoys translating health information via newsletters, virtual presentations, in-person presentations, social media, and other written and live formats, with the support of a marketing team. The candidate is also excited by supporting the various special events we throw, such as our Annual Client Retreat, and other events that pertain to health & wellness. Candidates seeking for a 100 percent clinical position do not align with this role. This role is based in Houston, TX or Bethesda, MD.
