Driver Helper
We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Driver Helper to assist our delivery drivers with the safe and efficient delivery of products to customers. The ideal candidate is physically fit, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, and is committed to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
- Assist the driver with loading and unloading products from the delivery truck.
- Help deliver products to customer locations in a safe, timely, and professional manner.
- Verify delivery orders and ensure the correct products are delivered.
- Secure merchandise during transport to prevent damage.
- Assist with carrying heavy materials into customer homes, businesses, or job sites.
- Maintain a clean and organized delivery vehicle.
- Communicate effectively with the driver regarding delivery schedules and customer needs.
- Follow all company safety procedures and use proper lifting techniques.
- Provide courteous and professional customer service at each delivery stop.
- Perform other duties as assigned by management.
Qualifications
- Previous delivery or moving experience is a plus, but not required.
- Ability to lift and carry 75–100 pounds on a regular basis.
- Ability to work in various weather conditions.
- Strong work ethic and reliability.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be punctual and have reliable transportation to work.
