We are looking for a detail-oriented Bookkeeper to support day-to-day accounting operations in Midland, Texas. This role is responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, managing invoicing activity, and ensuring accounts are balanced and up to date. The ideal candidate brings hands-on experience with full-cycle bookkeeping and is comfortable using QuickBooks to produce reliable financial reporting.
Responsibilities:• Manage end-to-end bookkeeping activities, including recording financial transactions and maintaining organized accounting records.
• Prepare and issue customer invoices while monitoring outstanding balances and supporting timely payment collection.
• Process vendor payments and maintain accurate accounts payable records to ensure obligations are met on schedule.
• Reconcile bank accounts regularly and investigate discrepancies to keep financial data accurate.
• Generate and review key financial reports, including profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Support revenue tracking by recording income accurately and helping maintain complete documentation for financial activity.
• Maintain accounts receivable records and follow up on open items to improve account accuracy and cash flow visibility.• At least 3 years of experience in bookkeeping or full-cycle accounting roles.
• Proficiency with QuickBooks for daily accounting tasks and financial record maintenance.
• Practical experience handling accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.
• Strong ability to complete bank reconciliations with a high level of accuracy.
• Familiarity with preparing and reviewing profit and loss statements and balance sheets.
• Solid attention to detail and the ability to manage confidential financial information professionally.
