Unit notes no clinical involvement - profiles go directly to the manager for consideration. Must have home care home base charting experience as well as a background in home health - no exceptions. Coverage area: Marion, Washington, Taylor, LaRue, Hardin, Meade, and Breckenridge counties. Department: Home Health RN. What certifications do you require RNs/LPNs/CNAs to have: Licensed in the state of work. How many points a day/week? Do you require travelers to do "start of care", recerts, daily visits: 6.5, yes to SOC, recerts, and daily visits. Do you manage home vents? Are RNs/LPNs expected to have experience managing home vents? N/A. How many years of experience would you require an RN/LPN/CNA to have: Must have 1 year of experience on a Medsurg floor in a hospital setting. How many patients do they see per day? Do you use a point system: Case manage roughly 30 patients. 6.5 points a day. Adults, only. Is there a resource available for them to reach out to while in the field: Yes, clinical manager or educator 24/7 for emergency or 8-5pm. Do you staff Home Health Aides: Licensed in state. What are typical shifts and hours: 5-8 hr shifts? 4-10 hr shifts? 3-12 hr shifts? 5-8 hours. How often is someone expected to work the weekend shift? What is the weekend shift hours: Depends on the number of nurses in the rotation. 8-5. Are they asked to go into the holiday rotation: Yes. What are the call requirements for this position: No on call. Do they cover both home health and hospice: Home health. Scrubs (color?) and/or business casual: Scrubs (no color requirement).
