Welder Inspector

Location: Chester, PA

Rate: $18-24/hr

Shift: 1st

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding operations according to specifications and blueprints
• Fabricate and assemble metal structures and equipment
• Conduct quality inspections to ensure welds meet standards and specifications
• Use precision measuring instruments to verify dimensions and alignment
• Collaborate with team members to coordinate workflow and ensure timely completion of projects
• Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work area

Qualifications:

• Proven experience as a welder or similar role
• Proficient in various welding techniques, including MIG, TIG, and ARC welding
• Knowledge of quality control procedures and standards
• Familiarity with precision measuring instruments and tools
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision
• Excellent hand-eye coordination and manual dexterity
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team

Skills:

AWS B5.2 certification required

Familiar with AS9100 standards

HACCP (Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point)

QA/QC (Quality Assurance/Quality Control)

Quality control procedures and techniques

Fabrication skills

Quality audits

Coordinate measuring machine (CMM) operation

Knowledge of quality systems (ISO 9001, AS9100, etc.)

CGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practice)

Precision measuring instruments

Quality inspection techniques
