Maintenance Group Leader

OVERVIEWFRANKLIN INDUSTRIES is seeking a Group Leader for our Maintenance Team.The Maintenance Group Lead is responsible for coordinating the daily activities of the Maintenance Department while actively performing the duties of an Industrial Maintenance Technician (Millwright).This position serves as the Maintenance Manager's primary operational coordinator by organizing daily maintenance assignments, coordinating preventive and corrective maintenance activities, supporting work planning, assisting with parts procurement, maintaining maintenance documentation, and ensuring maintenance work is completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with Franklin Industries' maintenance standards.As a working leader, the Maintenance Group Lead performs mechanical maintenance while providing day-to-day operational direction, supporting workforce development, and promoting equipment reliability throughout the facility.Minimum QualificationsRequiredHigh School Diploma, GED, or equivalent.Demonstrated competency as an Industrial Maintenance Technician (Millwright).Minimum five (5) years of industrial maintenance experience.Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills.Experience using CMMS software.Ability to read blueprints, hydraulic and pneumatic schematics, and technical manuals.Strong communication, planning, and organizational skills.Basic computer proficiency.PreferredHeavy manufacturing or steel industry experience. HousekeepingSupport Franklin Industries' housekeeping and 3S initiatives. Maintain organized maintenance work areas. Ensure tools and equipment are properly stored. Promote housekeeping standards throughout the Maintenance Department.
