About the Role
The Company is seeking an Executive Director, Project Management to lead and direct the Project Management team within a therapeutic group. This leadership role is pivotal in ensuring the successful conduct of assigned projects, maintaining effective client relationships, and contributing to the strategy and acquisition of new business. The successful candidate will be responsible for the overall management of the Project Management team, including line management, and will be expected to have a strong background in global clinical pharmaceutical industry, with a focus on clinical project management and staff management. The role also involves overseeing project financial performance, developing and implementing project plans, and serving as the primary contact for Alliance Partnerships with sponsors. Candidates for the Executive Director, Project Management position at the company should have a university or college degree (life science preferred), or an equivalent combination of education and experience, and a minimum of 12 years' of global clinical pharmaceutical industry experience. The role requires demonstrated leadership, financial analytical, planning, organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills, as well as the ability to inspire teamwork and motivate personnel. Experience in managing global drug development programs, strong marketing and negotiation skills, and the ability to adapt to a cross-cultural environment are essential. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in project management, be fluent in English, and be available for domestic and international travel.
