About the Role:

The Wellness Center Lead (PRN Days) is responsible for overseeing the daily operations and overall management of the wellness center during assigned days, ensuring a high standard of care and service delivery. This role involves coordinating wellness programs, managing staff schedules, and fostering a supportive environment that promotes physical, mental, and emotional well-being for all clients. The Wellness Center Lead acts as a key liaison between clients, staff, and external partners to facilitate seamless communication and program implementation. They will also monitor compliance with health and safety regulations, maintain accurate records, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. Ultimately, this position aims to enhance the wellness center’s impact by leading with professionalism, empathy, and strategic oversight.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Health, Wellness, or related field preferred.
• Experience in a wellness, healthcare, or customer service leadership role.
• Strong organizational and multitasking abilities to manage daily operations effectively.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with diverse populations.
• Basic knowledge of health and safety regulations applicable to wellness centers.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Certification in wellness coaching, fitness instruction, or related specialty.
• Experience working in a healthcare or community wellness setting.
• Proficiency with scheduling and client management software.
• Demonstrated ability to lead and motivate a team in a dynamic environment.
• Knowledge of mental health and holistic wellness practices.

Responsibilities:

• Manage day-to-day operations of the wellness center during PRN (as-needed) day shifts, ensuring smooth workflow and client satisfaction.
• Coordinate and supervise wellness programs, including fitness classes, health screenings, and educational workshops.
• Lead, mentor, and support wellness center staff, including scheduling, training, and performance feedback.
• Maintain compliance with all relevant health, safety, and regulatory standards, conducting regular audits and reporting as necessary.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and external partners during assigned shifts, addressing concerns and facilitating communication.
• Oversee inventory management of wellness supplies and equipment to ensure availability and proper maintenance.
