Job Title:Speech Language Pathologist AssistantPay Range:$28-$40 per hourJob Description:26-27 SY | $28-$40 per hour | Full-Time | Minneapolis, MN| School-Based | MN SLPA License or willing to obtainAbout the Role: Provide speech and language therapy services to students in K–12 school settings under the supervision of a licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP). You'll support the implementation of treatment plans, deliver direct therapy, and help students build the communication skills they need to succeed in the classroom and beyond. This role collaborates closely with SLPs, teachers, families, and multidisciplinary teams to maximize student outcomes.Why Join Us:CEU/license reimbursement and tuition assistanceFull benefits: Medical, Dental, Vision, 401(k)Paid sick leaveOngoing professional development opportunitiesWhat You'll Do:Provide direct speech therapy services to students aligned with IEP goals under the supervision of an SLPAssist in implementing treatment plans and documenting student progress toward established goals Support the SLP in conducting screenings, data collection, and informal assessmentsCollaborate with teachers, staff, and families to reinforce communication strategies across environmentsMaintain accurate and compliant therapy notes, service logs, and progress documentationPrepare therapy materials and adapt activities to meet individual student needsParticipate in IEP meetings and team discussions as appropriateWhat We're Looking For:Must Have:Bachelor’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related fieldCurrent SLPA license or certification in the state where services are delivered (or eligibility to obtain)DOJ/FBI Live Scan background checkStrong organizational and interpersonal skillsExcellent written and verbal communicationPreferred:One year of experience in a school or pediatric settingFamiliarity with IEP processes and special education servicesKnowledge of speech and language disorders and evidence-based intervention strategiesExperience supporting diverse student populationsAbout Point Quest Group: Point Quest Group is a leading national provider of special education services, partnering with 350+ school districts to help students with unique needs thrive academically, socially, and emotionally.
