Client: Arizona Department of Revenue (AZDOR)

The Arizona Department of Revenue is seeking a Business Intelligence Analyst to support data analysis, reporting, dashboard development, and business intelligence initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Create and maintain reports, dashboards, and data visualizations.
• Analyze large datasets to identify trends and actionable insights.
• Write, execute, and analyze complex SQL queries .
• Develop ad-hoc and standard SSRS reports .
• Utilize SQL, Excel, Google Sheets, and Power BI for data analysis.
• Validate data accuracy, completeness, and consistency.
• Gather and analyze business and reporting requirements.
• Collaborate with technical and business stakeholders.
• Troubleshoot BI tools, reports, and workflow issues.
• Identify opportunities for workflow and process improvements.
• Organize and synthesize data to identify key business issues.
• Develop reporting and automation solutions using Visual Basic (VB) .
• Support requirements analysis, testing, and problem resolution.
• Manage multiple projects and priorities independently.

Required Skills

• Strong experience with SQL and Microsoft Excel .
• Experience in Data Analytics / Business Intelligence .
• Knowledge of RDBMS and relational databases.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and Google Workspace.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with Power BI and SSRS .
• Experience with Visual Basic (VB) and MS Access.
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Interest in AI tools and AI-enabled technologies .
