Ability to print and speak simple sentences. Must have working knowledge to read and interpret prints./liliAbility to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs./liliAbility to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations./liliBasic skills in CNC programming and precision hand tools are required./liliStand more than 1/3 of the time./liliWalk more than 1/3 of the time./liliSit under 1/3 of the time./liliUse hands and fingers and arms over 2/3 of the time./liliNo Kneeling, Crawling, Stooping, or Climbing/liliLifting items under 10/25 pounds 2/3 of the time/liliLifting items under 50 pounds 1/3 of the time/liliNo lifting items over 50 pounds./li/olpDuties and Responsibilities:/polliResponsible for quality of work performed in machine shop area. Accountable for fabrication and layout on a variety of parts or products involving close tolerances. Must set up and operate all machine shop machines to cut-bend, machine, or form parts. Uses a variety of machine shop hand tools and measuring instruments./liliAssist Group Lead in all functions of the machine shop including workflow and process improvement.
