Maintenance Technician

The Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing routine, preventive, and corrective maintenance across commercial facilities. This role supports the safe, efficient operation of building systems by completing work orders, responding to service requests, and assisting with ongoing facility upkeep. The ideal candidate is dependable, hands‑on, and comfortable working across multiple building systems and trades. Military Veterans are encouraged to apply. Referral program. Company‑paid life insurance & so much more! Your main Tasks: Perform routine and preventive maintenance on a variety of building systems. Respond to and complete work orders in a timely and professional manner. Troubleshoot and repair common facility issues such as leaks, lighting failures, minor electrical issues, and HVAC‑related concerns. Conduct regular inspections of buildings, equipment, and grounds to identify maintenance needs. Perform general building maintenance including painting, drywall repair, basic carpentry, and door or hardware adjustments. Accurately document work performed, materials used, and service activity in work order or mobile systems. Coordinate with supervisors, vendors, and contractors when specialized repairs are required. Participate in after‑hours or emergency maintenance as part of an on‑call rotation. Maintain tools, equipment, and work areas in a clean and organized condition. Experience or Certification needed: Previous experience in facilities maintenance, building maintenance, or a hands‑on role. Working knowledge of basic electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and general building systems. Ability to troubleshoot issues and work independently or as part of a team. Ability to read and follow work orders, manuals, and basic technical documentation. Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record. You need to be able to: Keep it a drug‑free workplace. Pass a background check and motor vehicle record check. Be punctual and reliable. Work 8‑10 hour per day and overtime when necessary. Be on call. Work in extremes of heat, cold and bad weather, indoors and outdoors. Stand and walk throughout the workday, and lift/carry up to 60 lbs. Work efficiently in confined spaces.
