Registered Nurse (RN) - Outpatient Infusion

Departmental Overview Our 12‑chair Outpatient Infusion Center offers patients and their families a specialized care environment to meet their unique safety, physical, and emotional wellbeing needs. Our highly skilled infusion team provides a wide range of antibiotic therapy, chemotherapy, hydration, blood transfusions, and other supportive care for both peripheral and central lines. Compensation / Benefits $26.77–$43.71/hr based on previous work experience. Evening differential $2.50/hr. Weekend differential $3.00/hr. Job Summary Assessment/reassessment – Systematically assess and reassess the health care needs of individuals, appropriate for specific age groups and patient conditions, involving patient, family, and other healthcare providers as appropriate. Nursing Diagnosis and Outcomes – Analyze assessment to determine nursing diagnosis and expected outcomes, involving patient, family, and other healthcare providers as appropriate. Implementation and Coordination of Care – Provide nursing care through interventions to achieve goals and needs using professional judgment guided by current practice standards, rules, regulations, and policy. Evaluation and Discharge – Evaluate patient outcomes by utilizing the critical thinking process and evidence‑based knowledge to recognize problems, evaluate facts, and reach sound conclusions. Professional Practice – Maintain a professional working relationship with physicians to facilitate excellent patient care. Assist in the maintenance of logs (patient/medication fridge, crash cart). Qualifications Education Diploma or Associate’s degree (ADN) required; Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) or Masters of Science in Nursing (MSN) preferred. Experience Previous experience in the healthcare field preferred. IV insertion skills required. (Above requirements can be met by an equivalent combination of education and experience.) Licensure / Certification / Registration / Professional Designation ETC Current Oklahoma Registered Nurse license. Basic Life Support (BLS) training or retraining required during orientation prior to providing patient care. Current Basic Life Support (BLS) must be maintained through re‑training for the duration of employment. New grads are required to complete Norman Regional’s Nurse Residency Program.
