ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Provide specialized instruction in art, photography, cartooning, dance, recreation, coding or martial arts Create and implement a syllabus and pacing calendar for the school year that is based on outcomes Be prepared to put together a performance piece or portfolio of the students’ work for showcases and celebrations Help youth to develop healthy self-esteem, decision‑making skills, respect, discipline, and physical fitness interests COMPETENCIES Detail oriented Organized Ability to successfully manage multiple relationships Strong communication skills. Willing to go above and beyond program mandates for the benefit of the children.
