Position: Automotive Service Technician (A-Tech / Line Tech)

Location: Carrollton, Texas

The Opportunity

Let’s talk shop. If you’ve been turning wrenches in the DFW market, you know how it goes at most dealerships—promises of high production, followed by slow workflow, broken parts-ordering systems, and management that treats you like a clock-puncher.

At Vanguard GMC of Carrollton , we do things differently. We are a family-owned group that lives by our commitment to "WOW" our team members, customers, and peers. We have the volume, we have the steady flow of work, and we need skilled technicians who want to flat-out produce, make great money, and still have a life outside the shop.

What You Will Actually Do

We keep our bays moving so you can keep your hours high. Your day-to-day will focus on what you do best:

• Pinpoint Diagnostics: Utilize state-of-the-art diagnostic tools and software to accurately troubleshoot and isolate complex automotive issues.

• Precision Repairs: Execute mechanical repairs, warranty work, and heavy adjustments to strict factory specifications.

• Accurate Documentation: Maintain clean, detailed records of repairs, parts used, and services performed.

• Seamless Teamwork: Collaborate with Service Advisors to keep lines of communication open and customers informed.

• Continuous Growth: Level up your skills with fully paid factory training and professional development opportunities.

What You Bring to the Table

We aren't looking to train apprentices here; we need a proven professional who can walk in on day one and hit the ground running:

• The Experience: Solid background as an automotive technician with formal automotive training.

• The Credentials: ASE Certifications (or brand-specific equivalent).

• The Mindset: Advanced problem-solving skills, an obsessive eye for detail, and a commitment to fixed-right-the-first-time quality.

• The Essentials: A valid driver’s license with a clean driving record and a drive to work independently or as part of a high-performing shop team.

Why Bring Your Tools to Vanguard? (The Benefits)

Top-tier techs have options across the metroplex. Here is why our guys stay:

• Consistent Earnings: Paid weekly based on a competitive flat-hour structure.

• Invest in Your Skillset: 100% Paid Factory Training to keep your certifications and earning power sharp.
