Logistics Support Specialist

We seek a Logistics Support Specialist who will thrive in a challenging, rewarding, process-oriented environment. As a team member, you will contribute to the ongoing efforts of the Marine Corps’ concept-based Force Development led by Headquarters Marine Corps (HQMC) Combat Development & Integration (CD&I) . You will contribute towards designing and developing a modernized Marine Corps to campaign and win in an evolving threat environment. Your efforts will provide deployed MAGTFs with the capability to deny, deter, and, if necessary, defeat adversaries as part of a naval, joint, combined, and interagency campaign. The Logistics Support Specialist will assist with assessing inventory of program owned assets to inform ongoing testing and laboratory asset development, under the supervision of the Material Manager. Location: This position is located onsite in Quantico, VA A salary range of $100,000-$130,000 is available for this position commensurate with education, years of experience, and qualifications. Participate in all planning, coordination, testing, and experimentation events. Identify requirements for all classes of supply, vehicles, and material support for training and experiments. Manage all aspects of supply, vehicle, and ammunition support, including planning, accountability, embarkation, storage, shipment, employment, and recovery. Maintain liaison with supporting supply agencies involved in training and experimentation. Coordinate and manage facility maintenance requirements, including submitting and tracking facility maintenance work orders. Assist in the maintenance, replacement, and storage of all supplies, equipment, and materials held or temporarily stored by the Experiment Division. Provide subject matter expertise, including technical design and analytical support for logistics experimentation and solutions. Support the development of logistics-focused experiment plans, including the formulation of logistics objectives, sub-objectives, and experiment questions. Coordinate logistics planning with relevant Marine Corps organizations, other Services, and partner agencies, as required. Manage all facets of logistics support to the Experiment Force. Conduct logistics analysis using the DOTMLPF framework (Doctrine, Organization, Training, Materiel, Leadership, Education, Personnel, and Facilities) for each experiment. Assist in the development of new logistics Tactics, Techniques, and Procedures (TTPs) as required to support experimentation. Conduct research and analysis of current policies and procedures to provide recommendations for innovative logistics solutions. Support the preparation of briefs and presentations on logistics-related topics. Maintain awareness of evolving TTPs, training initiatives, and technology advancements—especially related to sea-based logistics—to support innovative experimentation planning.
