Machine Maintenance Technician Pay Rate and Hours:

• $20.00 per hour plus, depending on experience
• Monday-Saturday; 7 am to 5:45 pm

Machine Maintenance Technician Job Summary:

The Machine Maintenance Technician is responsible for ensuring the reliability and optimal performance of our production equipment. This role involves repairing, maintaining, and troubleshooting digital printers, inserters, bindery equipment, and facility systems. The technician supports production uptime and contributes to our operational efficiency and commitment to excellence.

Machine Maintenance Technician Duties/Responsibilities:

• Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment, and systems.
• Troubleshoot and repair mechanical, electrical, and systems.
• Maintain production machinery such as Mail sorting machines
• Respond promptly to breakdowns, diagnose the root cause, and restore operation quickly.
• Document all repairs, inspections, and maintenance performed.
• Work closely with production supervisors and sorting machine operators to coordinate maintenance activities with minimal impact on production.
• Assist with machine installations, upgrades, and relocations.
• Collaborate with production operators/supervisor/plant manager to identify recurring equipment issues and recommend long-term solutions.
• Ensure compliance with safety and environmental regulations.
• Maintain tools, parts inventory, and organized work areas.
• Provide input to maintenance planning and equipment upgrade opportunities.
• Provide input on equipment reliability and improvement opportunities.
• Must be able to lift up to 50lbs consistently.
• Follow all Moore safety protocols and actively participate in company safety initiatives.
• Required to stand for long periods of time, bend, reach, and move about the facility
• Required to grip, twist, and turn both hands for long periods of time
• Consistent and Reliable attendance is MANDATORY.
• All other duties as assigned
