MINI EXCAVATOR OPERATOR ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure locates are correct
- Safely and efficiently operates Mini Excavators
- Ensure safe operation of any support equipment
- Constantly communicate with crew members
- Ensure potholes are dug prior to crossing utilities
- Maintains accuracy in all reporting functions
- Assist with JSA’s and constantly being on the lookout for changing conditions
- Assist with hand digging and pot holing when needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned
UNDERGROUND UTILITY INSTALLER ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Install underground conduit
- Safely and efficiently operate a shovel when needed.
- Install concrete ground boxes
- Constantly communicate with crew members
- Ensure potholes are dug prior to crossing utilities
- Maintains accuracy in all reporting functions
- Assist with hand digging and pot holing when needed
- Performs other related duties as assigned
- Install concrete on top of conduits in ditch
