The Sales Consultant role will work directly with clients to identify their insurance needs and recommend tailored coverage solutions, including life, health, and supplemental insurance products. The role requires a motivated self-starter with a strong work ethic who is committed to helping clients protect what matters most to them. The Consultant must value integrity, accountability, and teamwork and be able to thrive in a performance-based environment. This is a W2 position offering base compensation plus performance-based commissions, structured training, and advancement opportunities within a growing agency.

Key Responsibilities

• Generate and qualify new leads through referrals, outreach, and marketing campaigns
• Meet with clients (virtually or in person) to assess insurance needs
• Present and explain insurance products, including life, health, and supplemental coverage
• Customize policies to align with client financial goals and risk tolerance
• Close new business and consistently meet or exceed sales targets
• Maintain accurate client records and track activity using CRM systems
• Provide ongoing client support, policy reviews, and relationship management
• Stay informed on insurance products, industry regulations, and compliance standards
• Collaborate with team members and leadership to improve sales strategies

Qualifications

Previous sales experience required; insurance or financial services experience preferred

Active insurance license (Life & Health)

Strong communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills

Self-motivated with a goal-oriented and competitive mindset

Ability to build trust and long-term client relationships

Proficiency with CRM systems and basic technology tools

High school diploma or equivalent required; bachelor's degree preferred
