2026-2027 Full-time Food Service Technician

Job Title

Provides courteous, professional, and prompt services to all internal and external customers including students, parents, co-workers, etc.

Preparation of all food as assigned by Manager

General cleaning of food service unit

Assists in the daily operations of meal service

Storage of food in accordance with the Manager's specifications

Operates computer at point of service line

Maintain daily records of all lunch monies that are accepted

Performs other duties as assigned by Principals, Supervisor/Director and Central Office Administration

Minimum Qualifications

U.S. Citizen or authorized alien

Ability to read at a fifth grade level

Ability to write

Ability to lift and carry 25 pounds

Ability to lift up to 100 pounds with assistance

Ability to stand or walk up to 7 hours per day

Ability to push or pull equipment such as food carts and mop buckets

Ability to complete simple math problems involving addition and subtraction

Ability to communicate in English
