Workday Functional – Senior Consultant (Core & Compensation)
Experience: 10–12 years Skills: Core HCM, Compensation
Job Description: Delivers advanced configuration and optimization of Workday Core HCM and Compensation modules. Acts as a subject matter expert across HR and Finance functions.
Responsibilities:
- Configure Core HCM and Compensation modules including business processes and eligibility rules.
- Lead workshops and requirement gathering sessions.
- Support annual compensation cycles and data audits.
Mentoring & Leadership:
- Coached junior consultants on compensation configuration, resulting in improved delivery quality and reduced rework.
- Led a cross-functional team during a compensation cycle redesign for a Fortune 500 client.
Cross-Functional Collaboration:
- Worked with HR teams to align compensation structures with talent strategies.
- Collaborated with Finance for budget planning and payroll alignment.
Mentoring Impact Metrics:
- Improved configuration accuracy by 35% through peer reviews.
- Reduced rework cycles by 25% across 2 project phases.
