Siemens Industry is looking for a 1 st Shift Production Supervisor for our Grand Prairie, TX factory located in the heart of the DFW Metroplex.

You’ll make an impact by:

• Being the key driver of all daily production relatedprocesses and the hub of information transfer between the hourly assemblyworkforce, management, engineering, quality control, purchasing andplanning.

• Improve safety for all personnel the work in andaround production line while drive efforts and initiatives to reduceproduction errors, improve product quality, and increase efficiency.

• Handle production schedule, assign personnel to workareas, supervise progress, coordinate and document training of personnel,drive continuous improvement projects, and conduct annual employeeperformance evaluations.

• Maintain working relationship with local union byfollowing the collective bargaining agreement.

• Support digitalization efforts to implement toolssuch as Digital Work Instructions, Operator Displays, Performance/StatusDashboards, and other connected tools.

You’ll win us over by having the followingqualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

• 2+ years of successful experience in anAssembly/Manufacturing or related field in a supervisor role.

• Bachelor’s degree

• Mechanical Proficiency with experience using handtools.

• Proficient in Microsoft office products

• Legally authorized to work in the United States on acontinual and permanent basis without company sponsorship

Preferred Qualifications

• Lean Manufacturing techniques.

• Ability to interpret engineering drawings andschematics.

• Project Management experience; strong leadership andtime management skills, understanding of management approaches for workdirection, motivation, talent development and performance management.
