Dermatology Nurse Practitioner

Location: Carolina Beach & Leland, NC

Schedule: Mon - Fri (Days)

Responsibilities:

• Perform comprehensive dermatologic evaluations, including detailed histories and full body skin examinations.
• Diagnose and manage common and chronic dermatologic conditions (acne, eczema, psoriasis, rosacea, dermatitis, fungal infections, rashes, etc.).
• Identify and treat precancerous and cancerous lesions (AK, BCC, SCC, melanoma) within scope of practice.
• Perform medical dermatology procedures including:

Ø Shave, punch, and excisional biopsies

Ø Cryotherapy

Ø Lesion removal

Ø Wound care and post-procedure management

• Order, review, and interpret dermatopathology and diagnostic tests.

Requirements:

• Master's Degree from an accredited PA program
• Current NP license in North Carolina
• Minimum 1 years of experience in Dermatology
• Strong diagnostic reasoning and procedural skills
