Overview TRC is seeking highly motivated and diverse Environmental Interns for our Summer 2027 intern program out of our Ann Arbor, MI Office. This is a paid full-time position. Anticipated duration will be from June through August 2027 (flexible). This position has the potential to transition into a Full-Time role upon graduation. The successful candidate will work under the supervision of Project Managers and Team Leaders and partner with engineers, scientists, and technologists. Responsibilities Support various project tasks including regulatory requirements/review estimates, research, procurement support, etc. Perform data entry, data management, data evaluation, and data presentation. Field assistance with groundwater sampling, soil sampling, soil vapor sampling, ecological risk assessments etc. Field work oversight such as soil excavation, remediation, due diligence inspections, etc. Perform engineering calculations and design assistance for government, commercial, and industrial properties as needed. Perform other related duties and responsibilities as necessary. Qualifications Minimum Requirements Must be at least 21 years old with a valid driver's license Pursuing Bachelor or Associate Degree in Environmental Engineering, Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or related field Minimum GPA of 3.0 Has excellent verbal and written communication skills Possesses solid technical and problem-solving skills Self-motivated, detail orientated person Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, and PowerPoint) Honest, fun, hard-working and ready to learn and grow Preferred Qualifications Experience with engineering software applications (AutoCad, MathCad, ESRI, HydroCad, WaterCad, ARCView GIS, etc.) is preferred but not required OSHA 40 hour safety or 30 hour OSHA safety training preferred but not required Benefits TRC ensures that interns/trainees receive benefits in accordance with the laws of their state or country of residence. Compensation In accordance with local law, the below salary range is applicable for the job and location associated with this requisition.
