• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Previous warehouse or material handling training is beneficial.

Experience Requirements

• 1-3 years of inventory control, kitting, warehouse, or material handling experience
• Forklift Operator certification required (Trainer certification a plus)
• Experience in lean manufacturing, Kanban, or Just-in-Time environments preferred
• Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office
• Valid driver's license required

Job Duties

• Maintain accurate inventory through cycle counting and discrepancy investigation
• Prepare and stage production kits according to kit sheets
• Report damaged materials, inventory shortages, and stock discrepancies
• Track inventory movements and update inventory records
• Maintain organized inventory and kitting areas using 5S principles
• Perform basic visual inspections to identify defective parts
• Support additional warehouse and production activities as assigned

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous warehouse, shipping, receiving, logistics, manufacturing, or distribution experience is preferred.
• Experience operating forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, or warehouse management systems is beneficial.
• Knowledge of inventory control procedures, warehouse documentation, or Lean warehouse practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate reliability, teamwork, attention to detail, and safe work habits are well positioned for success as a Material Handler / Forklift Operator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, reach, and perform repetitive material handling tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely move products using manual or powered material handling equipment.
• Ability to work efficiently in warehouse or manufacturing environments while following established safety procedures.

As a Material Handler / Forklift Operator you will receive, move, stage, load, unload, organize, and transport materials throughout warehouse or manufacturing operations. You will verify inventory, maintain accurate product locations, prepare materials for production or shipment, assist with inventory control, and help ensure safe, efficient movement of products while following established workplace procedures.
