OverviewJIAMDO supports the CJCS, through the Director Joint Staff J-8, in their responsibilities to coordinate development of air and missile defense capabilities. JIAMDO facilitates collaboration between Services, CCMDs, and agencies to identify existing and emerging capabilities and will foster innovation and integration through support to simulations, technology demonstrations, and RDT&E projects.ResponsibilitiesCritical member of a 3-person contract team that leads and manages the analytical underpinnings for the Joint Regional IAMD capability mix studiesCoordinates:With stakeholders to establish the study objectives, scenario development and measures of effectiveness: Joint Staff, combatant commands, intelligence community, Cost Assessment and Program Evaluation (CAPE)With FFRDCs (Johns Hopkins APL), Science Applications International Corporation (SAIC), Services, and the Missile Defense Agency to ensure the modeling and simulation accurately portray red and blue capabilitiesExtensive technical interchanges with the Intelligence Community (IC) to develop and improve upon understanding and simulation representations of adversary air and missile system capabilities.Develop adversary threat scenario descriptions and adversary threat fire plans (air-breathers, ballistic, and the emerging/challenging threats) to support the Joint Regional IAMD Capability MixQualificationsMasters Degree in STEM20+ years of military experienceTS/SCI or SAP access RequiredAir and missile defense specializationEEO StatementEEO Race/Sex/Disability Status/Veteran StatusJob SummaryCategory: Consulting ServicesPosition Type: Full-TimeRemote: NoClearance Required: Top Secret/SCI
