Warehouse Sanitation AssociateA leading distribution and logistics company is seeking a dependable Sanitation Associate to support warehouse cleanliness, safety, and organization at their Calera, AL facility. This role is ideal for individuals looking to build warehouse experience with the potential to transition into a full-time permanent position.Contract Details:Location: 1000 Sysco Dr, Calera, AL 35040Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM–4:30 PM (training schedule); standard hours 8 per day / 40 per weekDuration: Approximately 15 weeks (608 total hours)Travel: None requiredKey Responsibilities:Maintain cleanliness throughout designated warehouse areasTravel through assigned warehouse sections to collect and remove debris, including wood pieces, shrink wrap, label backings, and other waste materialsMove pallets as needed to clean underneath and around storage areasDust warehouse racks and storage locationsMop and clean floors and work areasAssist with material movement when necessaryRequired Qualifications:Ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularlyPhysical stamina to stand, walk, bend, and reach for extended periodsStrong attention to safety and detailDependable and consistent attendancePreferred Qualifications:Prior experience in warehouse cleaning or sanitationFamiliarity with warehouse safety practicesAbout the Role:This position plays a critical role in ensuring a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
