Home Care Assistant
Join University Home Care Inc as a Home Care Assistant in Dundee, MI. This role involves providing compassionate and personalized care to clients in their homes, ensuring their comfort, safety, and well-being. You will play a vital part in supporting individuals with daily living activities, promoting independence, and enhancing their quality of life.
Responsibilities
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Support clients with mobility and transferring safely within the home.
- Help with meal preparation and feeding as needed.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment.
- Monitor and report any changes in clients' health or behavior to supervisors.
- Maintain respectful, compassionate, and professional relationships with clients and their families.
- Document care services provided in a timely and accurate manner.
Requirements
- Previous experience in home care or personal care assistance is a plus.
- Compassionate, patient, and reliable with strong interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and follow care plans accurately.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
- CPR and First Aid certification is a plus or willingness to obtain.
