Key Responsibilities

• Administer and facilitate physical therapy treatments, including manual therapy techniques, exercise prescription, and the use of therapeutic modalities.
• Guide patients through functional rehabilitation activities like bed mobility, ambulation, and balance exercises.
• Continuously assess patients' progress before, during, and after treatments, making necessary adjustments to enhance recovery outcomes.
• Advocate for patient needs by educating them and their families on post-treatment care and self-management strategies.
• Maintain accurate documentation of patient evaluations, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with organizational policies.
• Mentor and support junior staff, sharing knowledge and training on advanced techniques and best practices.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our orthopedic physical therapists work primarily with patients recovering from musculoskeletal injuries, postoperative rehabilitation, and chronic pain conditions. You will provide tailored rehabilitation solutions to a diverse demographic, ranging from athletes to elderly patients. Your contributions will be vital in promoting positive patient outcomes and empowering individuals to regain their mobility and strength.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Valid California Physical Therapist Assistant (CA PTA) license.
• Minimum of two years of relevant experience in orthopedic physical therapy preferred.

• Experience with a variety of therapeutic techniques, including but not limited to manual therapy, therapeutic exercise, and modalities.

Compensation and Benefits
