General LaborerLooking for someone to assist in construction site cleanup in Portland ME. Job responsibilities would primarily be sweeping and lawn mowing as well as picking up debris.Perform general labor duties on job sites, including site preparation, cleanup, and material handling.Assist carpenters, equipment operators, and other skilled trades as needed throughout project phases.Load and unload construction materials, tools, and equipment efficiently and safely.Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment on all job sites.Work collaboratively with the project team, taking direction from supervisors and contributing to a positive job site culture.Construction site safety knowledgeStrong attention to safety, detail, and quality of workmanship.Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented work style.Ability to take direction and work independently when needed.Physical ability to perform manual labor tasks in outdoor conditions.Experience with siding installation and framing is a plus.Comfort working on both residential and commercial construction projects.Demonstrated ability to maintain an organized work area and handle materials efficiently.Willingness to learn new construction techniques and support a variety of trades.Strong communication skills to coordinate tasks with supervisors and team members.Employees participate in an employee-owned structure, creating a strong sense of shared success and long-term opportunity. Safety standards are emphasized, and maintaining a clean, organized job site is expected.This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Cumberland, ME.The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $22.00/hr.Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
