Manager of Legal Innovation

Our client, the world's most prestigious Am Law firm, is seeking a Manager of Legal Innovation to lead a high-performing team of Innovation Attorneys while driving firmwide AI adoption, legal technology strategy, and operational excellence. This is a unique leadership opportunity to shape the future of legal innovation by partnering with attorneys, practice groups, and technology leaders across a global platform. This role will be hybrid & can be based in D.C., NYC, Chicago, or LA. Responsibilities Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Innovation Attorneys, overseeing day-to-day operations and strategic priorities. Drive AI-first initiatives and legal technology adoption across practice groups to enhance attorney productivity and client service. Partner with attorneys, firm leadership, and Technology teams to identify workflow improvements and implement innovative solutions. Develop and execute innovation strategies using data-driven insights to increase technology adoption and operational efficiency. Foster a collaborative culture while leading process improvements, automation initiatives, and continuous innovation across the team. Qualifications J.D. and active U.S. Bar admission required. 7+ years of legal experience, including at least 4 years practicing as an attorney. 3+ years of leadership experience managing legal innovation or other professional teams. Experience within legal innovation, legal technology, knowledge management, AI, or practice innovation in a law firm or professional services environment.
