Position Overview

We are looking for a dedicated and skilled Sonography / Ultrasound Technologist to enhance our imaging team, committed to delivering exceptional patient care. You will operate cutting-edge ultrasound technology to perform diagnostic exams, work alongside a supportive team of healthcare professionals, and provide peace of mind to patients through prompt and accurate imaging results.

Description of Responsibilities

• Conduct various ultrasound examinations, including but not limited to abdominal, obstetric, gynecological, vascular, and small parts imaging
• Prioritize patient safety and comfort during procedures, articulating each step with empathy and clarity
• Through close collaboration with radiologists and referring physicians, ensure high-quality diagnostic images are obtained
• Manage imaging equipment effectively, addressing any technical issues as they arise
• Document all procedures meticulously and maintain patient records in the electronic medical records system
• Commit to continual learning regarding advancements in ultrasound techniques and best practices

Education Requirements

• Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or a related discipline
• Graduation from a CAAHEP-accredited Sonography program is preferred

Certifications Required

• Current certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or equivalent
• BLS (Basic Life Support) certification is preferred
