Phlebotomist

Job Responsibilities Perform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups. Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc. Enter patient data accurately and in a timely manner. Process billing information and collect payments when required. Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis. Maintain patient and specimen information logs. Provide superior customer service to all patients. Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary. Travel to additional sites when needed. Minimum Qualifications Valid Washington State-issued Phlebotomy License. In lieu of the state license requirement, an application for a phlebotomy license filed with the WA Department of Health at time of hire may meet license requirement. Preferred Qualifications 1 or more years of phlebotomy experience. 1 or more years of current or prior Labcorp experience in phlebotomy. Additional Job Standards Able to pass a standardized color blindness test. Flexibility to work overtime as needed. Exceptional customer service. Strong communication skills; both written and verbal. Ability to work independently or in a team environment. Comfortable working under minimal supervision. Pay Range $22.30 - $27.69 per hour.
