Order Picker (No Forklift)

National Star Services, a 28-year-old facility management company providing services nationwide, is currently seeking a reliable and hardworking Warehouse Associate to join our team at a client facility in Chicago, IL 60608. Important: This position requires working in a cold environment and performing physical, hands-on processing duties. Candidates must be able to meet the physical requirements of the position. Employment Type: Full-Time Temp-to-Hire Job Responsibilities include, but are not limited to: Picking and pulling customer orders accurately and efficiently. Preparing and organizing pallets for loading onto delivery trucks. Organizing products throughout the warehouse and freezer using pallet jack. Unloading incoming products and properly storing them in designated areas. Checking products and orders for accuracy and quality. Maintaining an organized and clean warehouse environment. Performing daily warehouse cleaning and general housekeeping duties. Following all safety procedures and proper warehouse practices. Performing other warehouse duties as assigned. Schedule Monday – Friday 1st Shift: 4:00 AM – 12:00 PM Overtime: Available Pay Rate $18.00 per hour. (Biweekly Pay) Requirements Bilingual English/Spanish proficiency is required to effectively communicate. Two valid forms of ID (Photo ID & SSC) Must have reliable transportation to get to and from work. Must be willing to undergo a Background Check. Must be available to start working as soon as possible. Must have a strong attention to detail and the ability to follow instructions. Must be able to lift up to 90 lbs. continuously throughout the workday. Must be able to remain standing and active for extended periods of time. Must be comfortable working in a cold-temperature environment ranging from -10°F to 30°F. Must be able to remain on your feet and actively moving for approximately 80–90% of the shift. Must be able to perform repetitive lifting, carrying, bending, reaching, and other physical warehouse tasks.
