Locations: Augusta, ME & Waterville, ME
Schedule: Opportunities for Full-Time, Part-Time, and Per Diem positions available

About the Role

Our organization is on the lookout for a board-certified or board-eligible Emergency Medicine Physician to become a vital part of a dedicated and skilled team serving the communities of Augusta and Waterville, Maine. You will join a robust emergency medicine group focused on providing exceptional and compassionate care to our patients.

Key Responsibilities

• Deliver comprehensive emergency medical services in a 24/7 Emergency Department.

• Collaborate with a team of 35 physicians and 2 physician assistants in a supportive, team-oriented atmosphere.

• Rotate between two emergency department locations:

  • A regional medical center situated in Augusta.

  • A standalone emergency department located in Waterville.

• Oversee a combined annual emergency department volume of 58,000 visits .

• Work 9-hour shifts with extensive clinical support from over 250 physicians, including both Adult and Pediatric Hospitalist teams.

Qualifications

• Doctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO).

• Certification or board eligibility through the American Board of Medical Specialties (ABMS) or relevant state licensing boards.
