Job Summary:

Transports staff, patients and visitors in a proper and safe manner with occasional guidance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs vehicle inspections, maintains cleanliness of bus interiors, fuels buses and logs trip counts.
• Provides assistance to passengers with special needs.
• Reports any accidents, violations of policy, safety hazards or unusual occurrences.

Technical Capabilities:

• Safety: The knowledge of and attentiveness to safety as well as compliance with the rules regarding safety.
• Equipment Inspections: Reviews and Inspections is a systematic process of checking to see whether a piece of equipment is meeting specified requirements.
• Driving Practices: Knowledge and use of safe and compliant driving procedures.
• Local Area Awareness: Working knowledge of roads, buildings, and places in the local area.
• Customer Service: A continuing focus on the needs and requirements of customers, anticipating their needs, remaining sensitive to customers while performing services for them, responsive to customer needs.
• Critical Thinking: The objective analysis and evaluation of an issue in order to form a judgment.

Certifications: LIC-Driver's License - Tennessee
