Physical Therapist Assistant - Outpatient Ortho

Location: Atlanta, GA

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 8-hour Day Shift (8x)

Job Description: We are seeking a dedicated Physical Therapist Assistant to join our outpatient orthopedic team. This position involves providing rehabilitation services while ensuring a positive patient experience. The ideal candidate will have outpatient experience and be prepared to handle a dynamic patient load.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct patient evaluations and assist in developing treatment plans.
• Implement therapeutic interventions that are designed to help patients achieve rehabilitation goals.
• Manage a patient volume of 12-14 patients per day, with a productivity expectation of 60 visits per week.
• Collaborate with other clinic staff and float to neighboring clinics as needed.
• Double-book follow-up visits where appropriate to optimize patient care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Outpatient experience preferred.
• Licensure as a Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) is required.
• New graduates are not eligible for this position.
