Job Summary:
The organization is seeking a qualified Registered Nurse (RN) for an Emergency Department (ED) position located in Glendale, Arizona. The selected candidate will provide patient care in a fast-paced ED setting, adhering to facility protocols and standards. Candidates are required to bring their professional license on the first day of assignment.

Job Details:

• Location: Glendale, AZ
• Specialty: Emergency Room (ER)
• Shift: 12-hour night shifts, from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM, possibly 6:00 PM to 6:00 AM
• Schedule: 36 hours per week, with a total of 4 weekend shifts every 4 weeks and holidays based on unit coverage
• Required Qualifications: Valid nursing license, at least 2 years of ER experience, certifications including Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
• Preferred Qualifications: Experience with Cerner electronic medical records system, ability to pass a skills exam on day 1 of orientation
• Additional Information:
  • Credentialing approval requires inclusion of the drivers license with submission
  • Candidates must pass the DYS exam prior to acceptance, with two attempts; failure results in a 6-month exclusion from assignments in CS AZ and Sacramento Region
  • Float to Litchfield FSED and Glendale FSED may be required but not to main campus if acuity levels are not met
  • Travel teams must have their own transportation
  • Must have natural hair color and no facial piercings
  • Men must be clean-shaven for fit testing
  • Orientation includes a day of skills assessment involving sterile technique, lifts, restraints, and wound care skills
  • Hospital maintains positive culture and teamwork focus
