Registered Nurse (RN) - Med/Onc Unit

Location: Idaho Falls, ID

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: Shift: 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Job Description: Join our dynamic Med/Onc unit as a Registered Nurse (RN) where you will provide exceptional care to patients while collaborating with a dedicated team of healthcare professionals. You will play a vital role in ensuring patient safety, effective medication administration, and fostering an environment of compassion and support.

Responsibilities

• Provide patient care with a focus on safety and effective medication administration.
• Work collaboratively with team members, demonstrating strong communication and time management skills.
• Maintain high standards of care, ensuring a patient ratio of 1:5 during the day shift and 1:6 during the night shift.
• Utilize medical equipment effectively, including Alaris IV pumps and EMR systems (Meditech).
• Participate in patient assessment and the implementation of care plans.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current RN License.
• BLS certification.
• Must have a minimum of 98% of all medications safely scanned and administered.
