Job Description
The Customer Service Cashier plays a key role within a small team, managing moderate volumes of customer transactions efficiently and accurately. This position involves handling both cash and card payments while maintaining a friendly and professional interaction with customers. The cashier is responsible for processing transactions, addressing customer concerns, and ensuring the cleanliness and organization of the checkout area throughout standard 8-hour shifts.
Responsibilities
- Handle cash and card payments accurately
- Engage with customers in a courteous and helpful manner
- Process transactions and issue receipts efficiently
- Scan products and maintain accurate transaction records
- Resolve customer complaints promptly and professionally
- Replenish stock at the checkout area as needed
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the checkout station
Preferred Qualifications
- Entry-level experience in customer service
