ICU Registered Nurse (RN)

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled ICU Registered Nurse (RN) for a 13-week assignment. This position will require working night shifts from 7 PM to 7 AM, with the expectation of working every other weekend.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, including those on ventilators and vasoactive drips.
• Collaborate with healthcare teams to develop and implement individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and thorough documentation of patient care and progress.

Qualifications

• Active AL or Multistate nursing license (no prior NURSYS hits).
• Current ACLS and BLS certifications.
• Minimum of 2 years of ICU nursing experience.
• Experience with ventilated patients and vasoactive drips is essential.
• Familiarity with Cerner EMR is preferred.
• Candidates must reside 50+ miles from the facility.

Work Schedule

This position requires night shifts, specifically from 7 PM to 7 AM, and includes every other weekend. Flexibility in scheduling is required.

Additional Information

• Applicants must be willing to float to other units as necessary.
• The facility includes a significant number of beds within the ICU.
• All applicants will be reviewed thoroughly, including those with pending state licenses.
• Previous employees who meet qualifications may be considered for rehire.
