Description

American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with 2+ years of OR experience, including C-arm and O-arm proficiency, for a Level I Trauma and teaching hospital setting.

Details

• Inpatient and outpatient hospital setting within a Level I Trauma and academic teaching hospital
• OR-based radiology role focused on surgical imaging support
• Procedures include C-arm and O-arm coverage for surgical interventions
• 4x10 hour day shifts from 11:30 AM to 10:00 PM
• On-call requirements are associated with this position

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist, preferably in a Level I Trauma or teaching hospital
• Active ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification required
• Proficiency with C-arm and O-arm systems required
• Experience in OR/surgical imaging settings required
• License required if applicable
• 2 professional references required for consideration: at least 1 must be from a Manager, Director, or Supervisor; a Charge RN is acceptable as the second reference; co-worker references are not accepted

Additional Information

• Provide C-arm and O-arm imaging coverage in the OR, collaborating with surgical and medical teams
• Maintain imaging equipment functionality and adhere to radiation safety protocols
• Local candidates are accepted at the same rate
• Former employees of the facility are eligible to return as travelers after a 6-month separation period
• Any requested time off must be submitted prior to booking and is limited to 7 days or fewer for the contract period
• Ohio state fingerprinting is required and must be completed promptly after accepting an offer — candidates outside of Ohio will be directed to a nearby fingerprinting location or mailed a fingerprinting packet with instructions
