Registered Nurse - Emergency Room

Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized emergency nursing care to patients in a fast-paced hospital setting, ensuring prompt and efficient treatment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality patient outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patient conditions upon arrival and determine priority level for treatment.
• Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patient vital signs and respond to changes in conditions promptly.
• Document patient care activities accurately in electronic medical records.
• Educate patients and family members regarding treatment plans and discharge instructions.
• Collaborate with physicians and staff to develop and implement care plans.

Qualifications:

• Valid state RN license with current licensure.
• Minimum of 2 years of Emergency Department RN experience.
• BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required.
• Demonstrate strong assessment, critical thinking, and communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a high-pressure, team-focused environment.
