MLee Healthcare is seeking a skilled and compassionate Ultrasound Tech / Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to join our team at an established hospital in Illinois. The ideal candidate will be responsible for performing diagnostic imaging procedures using ultrasound equipment to assist physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of various medical conditions. Shift Details: Multiple Shifts Available (1st, 2nd, or 3rd Shift)

Ultrasound Technologist Job Responsibilities:

• Perform ultrasound examinations on patients according to physician orders.
• Prepare and position patients for procedures, ensuring their comfort and safety.
• Operate ultrasound equipment to capture high-quality images of the body's internal organs and tissues.
• Analyze images to identify any abnormalities or pathologies.
• Maintain accurate patient records and documentation of procedures performed.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate interpretation of imaging results.
• Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to minimize risks to patients and staff.
• Participate in quality assurance activities and continuous improvement initiatives.

Qualifications Needed for an Ultrasound Technologist:

• Associate's degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field.
• ARDMS certification required.
• Strong understanding of anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team.
• Attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality patient care.
