Job Description

Job Summary:
Provide specialized psychiatric nursing care to patients with behavioral health needs across varied shifts, including rotating day and night schedules. Ensure delivery of quality mental health services while adhering to facility standards and performance expectations.

Responsibilities:

• Assess patients' mental health conditions and develop individualized care plans.
• Administer medication and monitor patient responses, documenting accurately.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate treatment and interventions.
• Educate patients and families on mental health management and coping strategies.
• Maintain compliance with facility policies, safety protocols, and ethical standards.
• Evaluate patient progress and adjust care plans accordingly to meet recovery goals.

Qualifications:

• Possess an active Registered Nurse (RN) license with psychiatric or behavioral health experience.
• Demonstrate strong clinical assessment and intervention skills.
• Exhibit ability to work effectively in fast-paced, rotating shift environments.
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of mental health practices and treatments.
• Show excellent communication and interpersonal skills with patients and staff.
