This role sits at the forefront of financial data and automation within Operational Finance’s Financial Data, Reporting & Automation team, where you will be responsible for the end-to-end administration and reliability of finance technology platforms, including SAP, planning and budgeting tools, reporting systems, and automation solutions such as Alteryx. You will ensure system stability, data integrity, and seamless process integration by managing data loads, configurations, user access, and issue resolution, while acting as the primary support lead and coordinating with IT and external vendors. In this role, you will design and maintain data models and automated data pipelines that support financial planning, reporting, and month-end close, while strengthening master data governance and implementing QA/QC controls to enhance reporting accuracy and efficiency. You will also drive standardization and automation initiatives to reduce manual processes and enable scalable analytics (e.g., Power BI), balancing mission‑critical deliverables with continuous system and process improvements. Additionally, you will partner across teams to identify and advance enterprise‑wide technology and process enhancements, while gaining exposure to and supporting critical annual reporting activities. As Financial Data, Reporting & Automation Senior Specialist, your work will help power our planet, reduce carbon emissions and create cleaner air for everyone. Responsibilities Assists with handling and fulfilling IT software and hardware requests. Handles IT expenses and processes invoices, gathers packing lists and purchase orders, prepares them for review and payment. Performs diverse technical assistance, documents findings, and performs maintenance duties in support of a large unit that may encompass a variety of user support needs. Maintains, updates, and audits record keeping systems and billing information outputs; documents projects, writes and maintains user instructions. Upkeeps and inputs applicable records such as network users, security, and tracking inventory levels of equipment and materials. Participates in the review, evaluation and recommendation of solutions related to hardware and software acquisitions and network updates. Executes regular vulnerability scans and security monitoring to identify and mitigate issues within the network. Configures, deploys, and maintains essential internal infrastructure including laptops, phones, printers, cameras, network switches, access points, and servers. Monitors service metrics continuously, looking for events that may indicate potential or actual breaches of Service Level Agreements (SLAs). Provides support and training for the company’s software systems. A material job duty of all positions within the Company is ensuring the protection of all its physical, financial and cybersecurity assets, and properly accessing and managing private customer data, proprietary information, confidential medical records, and other types of highly sensitive information and data with the highest standards of conduct and integrity. Minimum Qualifications Five or more years of experience as an IT Administrator. Experience in technical assistance and/or maintenance. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree or higher in finance, business administration, computer science or other related field. Experience with automation solutions, including PowerApps, Power Automate, and Alteryx. Experience using data visualization and dashboarding tools such as Power BI and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC). Knowledge of SAP/ERP and/or PowerPlant applications/modules with deep understanding of related business processes. SQL, automation, and/or system configuration experience. Additional Information This position’s work mode is hybrid. The employee will report to an SCE facility for a set number of days with the option to work remotely on the remaining days. Unless otherwise noted, employees are required to work and reside in the state of California. Further details of this work mode will be discussed at the interview stage. The work mode can be changed based on business needs.
